We only collect data that is strictly necessary to run our platform:

  • Account Information: Email address, password, and username/pseudonym.

  • Profile Details: Social media handles (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) that you voluntarily add to your public profile.

  • User Media: Video and audio recordings of your musical performances that you upload to participate in jams.

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and essential session cookies to keep you logged in and ensure site stability.

  1. STRICT AGE RESTRICTIONS AND CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Jamtik.com is a platform exclusively designed and intended for users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older.

  • No Collection of Minors' Data: We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal information (including video files showing a person's face or voice) from individuals under the age of 18.

  • Account Termination: If we discover or have reasonable grounds to believe that a user under 18 has bypassed our registration filters and created an account, we will immediately terminate that account and permanently delete all associated personal data and media files from our servers.

  1. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To host your profile and display your musical contributions on the platform.

  • To mix, edit, crop, and combine your video/audio into multi-screen compiled videos ("Final Jams").

  • To publish, broadcast, and commercially monetize the Final Jams on our website and official third-party social media networks (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).

  • To tag, mention, or credit your provided social media profiles under the published videos for attribution.

  1. DATA STORAGE, RETENTION, AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

  • Data Retention: We store your raw uploaded video files long enough to review, mix, and edit them into the compilation. Once a Final Jam project is finalized, raw files may be permanently deleted or archived to save server space. Your account profile data is kept for as long as your account remains active.

  • International Data Transfers: As jamtik.com utilizes servers based in the United States and other global regions, data from users outside these regions (including the EU/EEA) will be transferred internationally. We implement appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

  1. SHARING YOUR DATA

  • Public Visibility: Your username, social media links, and submitted performance videos become public once integrated into a Final Jam and published on external social platforms.

  • No Commercial Sale: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties or data brokers.

  • Service Providers: We only share data with essential technical subprocessors (such as cloud hosting providers and video rendering pipelines) strictly to maintain site operations.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your residency, you possess specific rights regarding your data:

  • Right to Access and Portability: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to Correction: You can update or fix inaccurate profile details.

  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request the total deletion of your account and raw submitted videos.

  • Important Legal Limitation: If your performance has already been edited, mixed, and embedded into a multi-user "Final Jam" that is published on external social networks, it is technically and legally impossible to remove your individual segment from the completed derivative work without destroying the entire collective project. By uploading your content, you accept this limitation under our Terms and Conditions based on our legitimate commercial interests.
